How TuneLens Works
TuneLens is an AI-powered sync placement coach. The core workflow is simple: Analyze → Improve → Match → Pitch.
Analyze
Drop an MP3 (up to 18 MB) and get a detailed AI report scoring your track's sync readiness, production, mix, mastering, and songwriting. Your track is private — never shared or used to train models.
Improve
Work through prioritized action items. When you've made changes, upload a revision — TuneLens compares it against your original and shows you exactly what improved.
Match
Paste a supervisor brief and match your catalog tracks against it. The AI tells you which track fits best, what works, and what to adjust before you pitch.
Pitch
Log every pitch, track relationships with supervisors and agencies, and record placements — all in the built-in CRM.
Track Analysis
Two analysis modes are available depending on where you are in the process:
Full Analysis gives you a complete sync readiness report with five scored sections — Sync Appeal, Production & Sound Design, Mix, Mastering, and Songwriting. Each section includes a detailed written assessment, specific strengths and weaknesses, and time-coded observations. A consolidated list of prioritized action items tells you exactly what to fix and in what order.
Full Analysis runs in Fast mode (1 credit) for quick feedback, or Deep mode (2 credits) for a multi-phase audit that adds section-level action items — worth it for any track you're about to pitch.
Song/Demo mode (1 credit) is songwriter-focused: it evaluates song structure, phrasing, vocal key assessment, and production readiness. Use it for early-stage demos where you want songwriting feedback rather than a full mix critique. The report includes an overall production readiness verdict (Ready for production · Ready with caveats · Needs work), Section Phrasing breakdown, and Vocal Key Assessment for vocal tracks.
Before running, optionally set your Intended Use (Background, Montage, Needle Drop, Trailers, Ads, Social, Games), a free-text Creative Direction, and Track Readiness (Mastered / Mixed but not mastered / Demo). These settings calibrate the AI's feedback to your actual goal.
While the analysis runs an identity panel lets you name the track by title and artist. TuneLens links identified tracks to your song catalog, enabling version history and score progression tracking across every revision you upload. A floating action bar at the bottom of the report gives you quick access to Action Items, Compare, Brief matching, Upload revision, Download PDF, and Save.
Reference Check
The Reference Check tab has two tools:
Compare Tracks lets you A/B your track against a commercially placed reference to find exactly where the gap is. You get side-by-side scores, an A/B spectral overlay with AI-flagged problem frequencies, a stereo width comparison, and a full AI audit with quick-fix recommendations.
Generate Blueprint analyzes any reference track and produces a structured sonic brief covering its structure, songwriting, production style, mix approach, and mastering — a concrete creative target you can write to before you start a new track.
Brief Checker
Music supervisors write briefs describing what they need: mood, tempo, instrumentation, references, and restrictions. TuneLens decodes these briefs into clear creative targets — mood keywords, genres, tempo range, production style, instrumentation, reference artists, and what to avoid. You can also add the catalogue name and supervisor name for your records.
Optionally match up to three tracks from your catalog against the brief — add the track currently loaded in Track Analysis, pick from My Songs, or upload new MP3s. The AI returns a verdict for each track: what works, what might not, lyrical fit, and a pitch action recommendation. Export the full report as a PDF. It's like having a sync agent review your submission before you hit send.
Sessions & Song Catalog
Every analysis and brief check you run is saved to Sessions. Filter by type, search by title, filename, or artist, and reload any past result with a single click. Track Analysis sessions are grouped by song identity and show a score sparkline across versions — so you can see at a glance how a track has evolved from first demo to final master, with score deltas between each revision.
The Songs tab is your full catalog. It connects each song to its analysis history, tracks the latest cue score across all versions, and flags potential duplicates automatically using fuzzy name matching — so you can merge them with one click and keep your catalog clean.
My Outreach
TuneLens includes a lightweight CRM built for sync pitching. Log every pitch submission, track relationship status with supervisors and agencies (Cold → Warm → Hot → Agreement), record signed songs, manage your artist roster, and add dated communication notes to individual contacts.
The Industry Resources section gives you a searchable database of music supervisors, upcoming productions actively seeking music, and licensing agencies. Click Assess on any upcoming project to run a one-click AI music assessment — the AI describes the mood, tempo, genre, instrumentation, and reference artists most likely to fit that project, giving you a concrete brief to write to.
