Why we built this
Getting music into sync is hard. Briefs are opaque, feedback from supervisors is rare, and most independent artists have no way to know whether their track is actually ready to pitch. The advice available — forums, YouTube videos, paid courses — is often generic and sometimes contradictory.
TuneLens exists to give every independent music maker the kind of specific, track-level feedback that was previously only available to artists with industry connections or professional A&R support. Upload a track, get a clear picture of what's working and what isn't — then go fix it.
Most of the time that's the whole point. You're at 90% on something, you can't tell any more whether the low end is a real problem or whether you've just heard it two hundred times, and the honest options are an expensive second opinion or another week of re-listening until the doubt wears off. Getting a specific answer in minutes is what turns a track that's nearly done into one that's done — whether or not you ever pitch it to anyone.
Who's behind it
I'm Peter Bladh — a producer and songwriter, and half of the duo CHRLY-K. I've been pitching music for sync for years: reading briefs, second-guessing whether a track was ready, and sending it anyway because there was no way to know.
One of ours ended up in Netflix's Vladimir — our track “Mind Game,” in Episode 1. That one worked. Plenty didn't, and I could never tell you why in advance.
That gap is what TuneLens exists to close. My sync operation used to be a spreadsheet of supervisors, a folder of half-finished masters, and a lot of guessing about which was ready for which brief. Now it's one workspace that tells me what's still wrong with a track and what to do about it — so tracks get finished in an evening instead of sitting at 90% for a month, and I know what I'm sending before I send it.
I build it for myself first. If it tells me a track isn't ready, I don't pitch it. That's the standard everything here is held to.
What TuneLens does
